When Elizabeth Whitfield, mother of four and grandmother of two, wanted to provide friends and loved ones with unique baby shower , birth and toddler gifts, she conceived of an idea that grew into something special. It occurred to her that children gain a great deal of self-confidence when reading about themselves, and are more interested in hearing a story when it is about them.  She also knew from her own experience that children loved seeing their names in print.  Hence, the idea for personalized books, merchandise and gifts for the new baby and young child was born.
